History

Casey’s first construction job was working for his father as a laborer at the age of 10. This on the job training led to many summers of construction laboring, from working for Heavy Civil Contractors, Masons, Public works building contractors to production home builders.

As a freshman at California State University, Chico, it was a natural fit for Casey to enroll in the Construction Management Program and pursue a career in Construction Management. Meanwhile every summer break Casey worked in the field for various Construction Firms increasing the depth of his knowledge of the construction industry.

After graduating with a B.S. in Construction Management in 1993 Casey worked for a few different firms. In the summer of 1995 Casey was welcomed aboard Dennis Banks Construction Company as a project manager in the commercial division. In 2003, Casey joined Dennis and Susan Banks as a co-owner of the company.

In 2015 Casey embarked on his own with the founding of Solum Construction. His decades of experience provide clients with confidence in knowing that the management and quality control of their construction project is in expert hands.
